A serious road accident it occurred this afternoon, Friday 3 May, around 5.00 pm in Pomezia. A motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle and crashed its run inside a water drainage canal which runs along via della Stazione di Pavona.

Team 22/A of the Pomezia fire brigade intervened on site and was responsible for rescuing the man recovering him from the ditch and handing him over to the care of 118 healthcare personnel. The rescuers deemed it appropriate to request the immediate intervention of the air ambulance to transfer the injured man to the nearest local hospital.
The police were also present who carried out the necessary investigations necessary to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident.
