Siena, the new commissioner Ugo Angeloni has been installed

The new police commissioner of the province of Siena Ugo Angeloni took office yesterday, Thursday 2 May, succeeding the police commissioner Pietro Milone. At 09.15 the Police Commissioner paid honors to the fallen, together with a representation of officials and the heads of the Specialties of the State Police.

During the ceremony, which was also attended by the ANPS and the State Police chaplain Don Emanuele, a laurel wreath was placed on the Cippo della Lizza. The ceremony ended with silence.

At the end, he entered the police station, where shortly afterwards he held a meeting with the local press, during which he first greeted the communities of the Siena province, then briefly recounted the professional path that brought him to Siena.

The commissioner Ugo Angeloni, also in relation to the experience gained especially in the capital, then underlined the importance of collaboration with the various institutions, with the other forces and police forces and with the citizens, as a basis from which to start to build together “security governance”.

Immediately afterwards, Ugo Angeloni met his closest collaborators and, subsequently, the trade union organizations to whom he expressed his availability, hoping for a constructive dialogue with them.

At 11.00, the commissioner Ugo Angeloni greeted the prefect Matilde Pirrera, then the mayor of Siena Nicoletta Fabio. In the afternoon you received a visit from the rector of the Magistrate of the Contrade Emanuele Squarci.
