The one scheduled for Sunday 5 May will be the 30th challenge between Ternana And Catanzaro, the 15th year in Terni. In the 14 previous official games the balance is in favor of the Fere, who won 7 timescompared to 4 draws and 3 defeats.
The first ever meeting is that of 1947 in Serie C, with Pangrazi’s team winning 1-0, while between the end of the 60s and 70s Ternana and Catanzaro faced each other on 7 occasions (one of these in the Italian Cup, the others in Serie B). Two draws in C1 in ’85’ and ’91, then the two matches in the cadet tournament, the last of which coincides with the last away victory of the Calabrians with a 2-0 win over the boys from Case, in 2006.
