Chronicles of a life of a woman and magistrate on the front line” by Teresa Principato (Author) Fuoriscena, 2024. The strength of these pages, which make up the full-length portrait of a protagonist of the great season of the fight against the mafia – essentially understood as a fight to unmask the deep link in Italy between crime and power; mafia, freemasonry, deviant services and subversive right – lies in their ability to offer the reader eyes to retrace over forty tragic and extraordinary years.
These are the years of Chinnici and Caponnetto, of Falcone and Borsellino, of the anti-mafia pool and of the poison palace of Palermo, of the trials against political protagonists, of the Luigi Ilardo case, of the hunt for the big bosses and of the actions that for too long they prevented his capture.
