Emergency landing at the Costa Smeralda airport of Olbia. A small ENAV plane, which is used for radio measurements and controls, had problems during the landing phase. The landing gear apparently broke and the aircraft stopped in the middle of the runway. It is a vehicle on which two or three people normally fly and no one was injured. The Fire Brigade intervened on site to remove the plane and make the runway safe.
The repercussions on air traffic are immediate. The easyJet flight arriving from Milan-Malpensa was diverted to Cagliari and the Volotea flight from Paris-Orly instead landed in Alghero. Four other planes departing from Paris, Bergamo, Naples and Milan-Linate are delayed.
