In the program of cultural initiatives promoted by the municipality, by Sunday 5 May11 am, a new review begins entitled “The Sundays of the Stage” which intends to propose a series of Sunday concerts at Music Stagein the central area Piazza Gramsci in Carrara.It begins with three events organized by the Municipal School of Music “Città di Carrara”, in collaboration with the “Palma” Music High School and the “G. Puccini” Conservatory of La Spezia.
The program was proposed by the teachers of the City of Carrara Musical Institute: the repertoire chosen for the concerts includes famous and captivating music, easy to listen to and suitable for creating a pleasant atmosphere in an outdoor venue on these spring days.
The saxophone quartet “Saxie Quartet” is entrusted with the inaugural concert, Sunday 5 May, under the direction of teacher Francesca Corsi.
It continues on Sunday 19 May with the saxophone quartets of the Liceo Musicale “Palma” of Massa and the Conservatory of Music “Puccini” of La Spezia, while on 26 May it will be the turn of the Wind Orchestra of the Liceo “Palma” of Massa. These musical ensembles adapt well to the acoustics and outdoor space of the Music Stage: brass instruments and saxophones are wind instruments that do not require amplification.

I therefore thank the teachers of the School of Music who enthusiastically involved the students in this new project for their collaboration.”
