L’Bathing ordinance in the Municipality of Fiumicino, signed by the Mayor Mario Bacciniwhich governs the season from May 11th to September 22ndprovides that the bathing facilities are open to the public, with guaranteed assistance and rescue service, between the hours of 9am and 7pm.

Any limitations on bathing and/or other activities related to the bathing facilities will be arranged with subsequent measures in the areas in southern Fregene, from time to time, affected by the works for the construction of the soffit, according to the indications that will be provided by the Works Management.

Free access to dogs is guaranteed during the bathing season in the stretch of free beach managed by the Municipality, the stretch of coast of Passoscuro for an extension of approximately 200 meters which goes from approximately 100 meters south of “Zone A” dedicated to kitesurfing to approximately 150 meters north of the concession registered to the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital.

The free practice of naturism is guaranteed on the stretch of free beach between Fiumicino and Focene for an extension of approximately 600 meters behind the pine forest of Via Coccia di Morto, between Via del Pesce Luna and 200 meters south of the beach in front of the airport radar.

a) Passoscuro 0.1 people/m2 – up to a maximum of 300 people;
b) Maccarese 0.5 people/m2 – up to a maximum of 400 people;
c) Fregene 0.5 people/m2 – up to a maximum of 400 people;
d) Porpoises 0.1 people/m2 – up to a maximum of 300 people;
e) Fiumicino center 0.5 people/m2 – up to a maximum of 400 people;
f) Sacred Island 0.5 people/m2 – up to a maximum of 400 people.

For the locations of Passoscuro and Focene, the above maximum limit may be equated to that provided for the other locations, if the concessionaire and/or manager presents the program for each individual to the Economic Development Area – One Stop Shop for Productive Activities. event, which provides for the availability of suitable spaces reserved for parking customers’ vehicles.

The activity of kitesurfing is prohibited for the entire bathing season on the entire coast of the Municipality of Fiumicino, with the exception of the following areas:

ZONE A – stretch of coastline located south of the northern border of the Municipality of Fiumicino for an extension of 200 meters near the mouth of the Cupino ditch.
ZONE B – stretch of coastline between Passoscuro and Palidoro for an extension of 50 meters starting from 100 meters north of Via Stintino in Passoscuro.
ZONE C – stretch of coastline between the “Rambla” and “BauBeach” bathing facilities for an extension of 50 metres.
ZONE D – stretch of coastline between Fregene and Maccarese for an extension of 200 meters starting from 50 meters north of the border (Fregene side) of the Roman Coast State Natural Reserve.
ZONE E – stretch of coastline between Fregene and Focene for an extension of 50 meters starting from 50 m south of the peninsula in correspondence with the former bathing facility called “La Perla”.
ZONE F – stretch of coastline between Focene and Fregene for an extension of 100 meters starting from 100 m north of the border (Fregene side) of the Roman Coast State Natural Reserve.
ZONE G – stretch of beach extending for approximately 150 meters located in the “Pesce Luna” area, namely approximately 150 meters south of the tip and approximately 250 meters north of the “Azul” kiosk.
