New mobility services in the ports of Olbia and Golfo Aranci

(ANSA) – OLBIA, 03 MAY – The vehicle and passenger routing service has been entrusted to the ports of Olbia and Golfo Aranci. The management will be for the next four years Italpol Servizi Fiduciari Srl The decree awarding the first lot of the tender for the assignment of services to passengers and vehicles has been signed, for a total amount of over 3 million and 600 thousand euros. The installation of infomobility systems for addressing vehicles entering and exiting the port of Olbia and equipment for traffic monitoring is planned.

Furthermore, the routing service will also cover the Golfo Aranci airport for the summer season, with the aim of better reorganizing flows to prevent congestion of urban roads.

The newly awarded lot completes the entire package of services put up for tender in April 2023, for a value of approximately 13 million and 790 thousand euros. “With the recent award provision and net of the outcomes of the various administrative appeals presented, we are completing the process of awarding the substantial package of services to passengers and vehicles arriving and departing in the port of Olbia and, seasonally, in that of Golfo Aranci – explains Massimo Deiana, president of the AdSP of the Sea of ​​Sardinia – Our objective is to further increase the flow management performance in the two ports, so as to be able to face, with maximum efficiency, a tourist season which, from the first data on traffic, promises to be more than positive”.
