The public notice for the granting of contributions for the development and production of audiovisual works, for the promotion of cinematographic and audiovisual culture and for the support of the activity of cinemas, pursuant to the “Annual operational plan of promotion of cinematographic and audiovisual activity” for the year 2024.
The resources allocated for audiovisual works (section 1) amount to 2,500,000 euros (of which 500,000 euros for development), 1,300,000 euros for the promotion of film festivals, exhibitions and prizes and other initiatives (section 2) and 700,000 euros for cinema businesses (section 3).
Thanks to Regional Law 30/16 “Cinema Campania”, the annual Cinema Plan has become a structural element of the Campania audiovisual system, allowing Campania to reach a position of absolute relevance in the audiovisual panorama, both in terms of attractiveness of the “Campania location” and in terms of visibility of the regional territory which has reached an increasingly numerous audience, even outside the Italian borders. In the promotion sector, regional incentives have had the merit of reinvigorating already consolidated initiatives and guaranteeing space for new proposals and experiments in a scenario of great liveliness and dynamism. Furthermore, regional support has allowed cinemas to resist the crisis in the exhibition sector which is finally starting to show signs of recovery.
This year too, the management of the fund and the public notice is entrusted to the in-house Film Commission Foundation of the Campania Region which provides information and assistance services for the submission of applications.
Applications for contributions can be submitted from 30 April to 30 May 2024 on the platform www.pianocinemacampania.it.
