PORDENONE – It is one of the most anticipated events of the year and for the 2024 edition it will be presented at a new time and in a new location.

The 2024 edition of TEDx Pordenone will be held on Saturday 11 May at the Concordia Auditorium in via Interna from 8.30 pm and will have the theme of “The Future”, in an overall vision under the aegis of artificial intelligence.

The Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Pordenone, Alberto Parigi, states: «I offer my sincere compliments to TEDx, an initiative of absolute value which I would like to become one of the pieces in building Pordenone’s candidacy as Capital of Culture. Meritorious is the commitment of the 30 volunteers who organize an event that is an example for the city. It is not static and frontal conferences that build ideas, but the testimonies of real life and the values transmitted through direct experience; this is the effectiveness of the formula with which this cultural and educational event in the youth panorama is conceived. An injection of confidence that is good for everyone, a breath of fresh air against the crisis of vision that young people have – but we all together with them – of the future, perceived as catastrophic or, much more often, non-existent”.

Ten speakers will take to the Concordia stage, imagined as time travelers and projected – backpackers – into the future. Along their journey, they will extract their best tools from their backpack: vision, inspiration, dedication; what guided them in building their path.
