The away goals rule does not apply and as extra time is not foreseen, if at the end of the two matches the regular time ends in a draw, the team finishing in 14th place will be relegated to the Promotion Championship. It goes without saying that Carbonia has no alternative but to win at least one match and, in doing so, will have to have a goal difference greater than the eventual defeat (victory for 2-0, 3-1, 4-2 for example and defeat for 1-0, 2- 1, 3-2) while Tharros is saved with two draws or with a victory if the eventual defeat will have the same goal difference.
