We publish what we read on the IC Boscarino Castiglione page: The “Chess at school” project of the school year has ended. 2023/2024. The final meeting and distribution of certificates will take place on 6 May 2024 at 3.30 pm at the S. gemma plexus headquarters. The project took place in collaboration with the Scacco Club Association of Mazara del Vallo, as foreseen in the memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Education and the Italian Chess Federation “Sport at school” as part of a project financed by Sport and Health SpA “At School for the Sports of the Mind”, has the aim of engaging students in activities that promote healthy lifestyles and of ensuring that young participants have knowledge and the different aspects of the game which integrates the ability to develop autonomy and socialization, logic and creativity.
The students participated with enthusiasm and commitment in the training course with the guidance of the expert federal referee Nino Profera assisted by the tutor teachers Maria Piazza and Elvira Pomilia. This school year too, the project saw enthusiastic and engaging support and presence; best congratulations to all those who participated
