The “Grosseto Cultura Foundation concerts” series returns with a new appointment in the “Carlo Cavalieri” auditorium of the “Palmiero Giannetti” municipal musical institute, in via Bulgaria. The two masters present famous pieces adapted: from Ennio Morricone to Mozart. The entrance is reserved for members of the Grosseto Cultura Foundation: before the concert it will be possible to sign up for the card for 15 euros.
The musicians
Alessio Manini he was born in Grosseto, where he lives, in 1983. From the mid-90s, for twenty years, he was first solo clarinet in symphonic opera wind orchestras. From 2002 to 2009 he attended the Conservatory and University in Florence, obtaining degrees in Clarinet, Legal Sciences and Music Teaching. He received a diploma in choral conducting from the Italian Santa Cecilia Association, deepening his discipline in the years in which he held the role of cantor, director and organist of the San Giuseppe polyphonic choir in Petricci. In 2006 he started teaching and in 2015, thanks to his teaching qualification in middle and high schools, he was placed in a role: he is a music teacher at the “Galileo Galilei” middle school in Grosseto and at the “Giannetti” municipal musical institute. ”.
Simona Viganò He is 35 years old and from Grosseto. He ranges from opera to modern singing, he currently sings in the Pisan symphonic metal group DreaL, as well as having solo and choral projects.
