Alongside the presentation and draw of the groups of the Tournament of Regions which took place inside the Green Pea in Turin, we collected the impressions of the president of the Regional Committee. Sabrina Olivero said: “The presentation of the Regions Tournament was a moment of great joy, culminating in the draws that outlined the exciting journey of the teams involved.”
“We would like to warmly thank all the municipal administrators Andrea Archinà mayor of Avigliana, Pasquale Mazza mayor of Castellamonte, Tallone Dario mayor of Fossano, Domenico Romano mayor of La Loggia, Luca Salvai mayor of Pinerolo, Elena Piastra mayor of Settimo Torinese and their collaborators who they generously supported the participating companies, together with the Piedmont Region, for their precious contribution. Olivero continues “The event highlighted the Federation’s commitment to enhancing youth activity, a fundamental objective for the future of our sport. In this context, we would like to express deep gratitude to FIBS vice-president Roberta Soldi for her encouraging words on the work carried out by the Piedmont Regional Committee and federal councilor Marco Mannucci, who made this day and those to come possible“.
He adds “During the presentation, a special moment was dedicated to remembering two fundamental figures of Piedmontese baseball and softball: the councilor Nadia Conti and the coach Ernesto Wong Isasi. Their spirit and dedication will continue to inspire and guide future generations of players and officials.”.
