Catanzaro – “The regional secretariat of the Democratic Party, led by Senator Nicola Irto, met, together with the regional president, Giusi Iemma, the Honorable Nico Stumpo, the group leader in the Regional Council, Mimmo Bevacqua, and the five federation secretaries, provincial and metropolitan, to define the organizational line of the upcoming electoral campaign for the European elections in which, among others, in the Southern Italy constituency, the Calabrians Jasmine Cristallo and Luigi Tassone are candidates”. A party press release reports this. “In the next few days – the note adds – the regional and provincial directorates will be convened to share the approach defined in today’s meeting and launch the electoral campaign in all the territories of Calabria, with the aim of presenting our candidates and promoting the electoral program of the Democratic Party list for a fairer, greener and more social Europe”. “We are ready – says Secretary Irto in a statement – to share this battle alongside our candidates for a more supportive and united Europe. The Calabrian candidates are young and with important experience of political commitment behind them. They represent an authoritative presence within the constituency list. The commitment we ask from all leaders and militants is to support them and the Democratic Party, involving all supporters and voters in the territories”.
