An engaging experience, an opportunity to get involved, an input for personal and collective growth. The students of the H and N first classes of the “Carlo Rambaldi” Technological Center of Lamezia Terme bring all this home, protagonists of the laboratory show “Shakespeare resolve” as part of the “Teatro Ragazzi” 2023-2024 festival promoted by the Teatrop company directed by Pierpaolo Bonaccurso.
The stage of the theater project at the Lamezzo high school, desired by the director Anna Primavera, turned out to be much more than the mere enjoyment of a theater show. Thanks to the professionalism of Pierpaolo Bonaccurso and the actors Ada Ronconi and Francesco Rizzo, the students were involved in the creation of the performance, including dialogues, jokes and improvisations, up to the original contamination between some famous Shakespeare phrases and the local vernacular.
A training experience which, through theatrical language, brought out potential and particularly involved the most vulnerable children, confirming the fundamental role of theater as a promoter of inclusion and valorisation of quality and talents.
On behalf of the director Anna Primavera, thanks to TeatroP and Pierpaolo Bonaccurso for offering our first year students an opportunity for growth and an incentive to put themselves on the line, to believe in their own potential starting from that possibility inherent in the theater of being able to enhance the peculiarities of each one by transforming them, together with those of others, into art and creativity.
