GROSSETO – The new exhibition at the Galleria Il Quadrivio in Grosseto opened on May 1st: the works of Marcella Carbonaro will be on display until Sunday 12 May, from 10am to 11.30am and 4pm to 7.30pm.

Marcella Carbonaro was born self-taught, with a great passion for art, drawing and colors. She has had a passion since she was little, which thanks to a lot of study and her own curiosity has allowed her to perfect various techniques and subsequently to focus on the topics and themes that she has chosen to explore in depth. In fact, she likes to focus on the cultural aspects of various peoples, their customs and habits, their customs and of course those wonderful landscapes that distinguish them. She also loves to focus on nature, portraying some fundamental elements, such as plants, flowers, animals and evocative sea and mountain landscapes.

“At my age it is an immense personal pleasure to be able to express myself with canvases, brushes and colours: they calm my mind and nourish my soul – declares the artist -. I have had the opportunity to participate in various exhibitions and group shows in Italy and abroad: Rome, Florence, London and Brussels. I deal with contemporary themes, expressing my passion for different peoples and cultures, thus depicting landscapes and characters typical of different continents and countries, such as Africa, India, Asia and beyond. I therefore invite you to participate to explore ‘my world’ full of colors and emotions”.
