6.30am Sanctuary of Santa Maria di Colonna – Holy Mass presided over by Can. Domenico Gramegna, Rector of the Sanctuary;
8:00 am Molo San Nicola – Opening of the celebrations with a diana from the company “Colangelo FireWorks”;
12.00pm: Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo – Boarding of the Crucifix from the ANMI Lido on the “Manuela” boat kindly made available by Marco Iurilli. The Effigy will be ferried from the ANMI lido to the vessel, by the fisherman Sansaro Lorenzo of the “Fisherman’s Bay”, with the collaboration of the “Amici del Mare” Sub Group.
12.30pm Santa Lucia Pier – Arrival of the SS. Colonna Crucifix, welcomed by an attraction of pyrotechnic lights and colors from the “Colangelo FireWorks” company. After the disembarkation, Solemn Procession with the intervention of His Excellency the Archbishop, the Most Rev. Cathedral Chapter, the Clergy, the Civil and Military Authorities, the Confraternity of San Nicola Pellegrino and the Secular Order of the Servants of Mary, which will follow the following itinerary: Santa Lucia pier, via Banchina al porto, via Statuti Marittimi, piazza Quercia, piazza Plebiscito, via San Giorgio (Palazzo Telesio), stop and prayer of entrustment of the City of Trani to the protection of the SS. Colonna Crucifix; continue along via M. Pagano, piazza della Libertà, via M. Pagano, via Marsala, corso V. Emanuele, piazza della Repubblica, via Aldo Moro, via N. de Roggiero, church of Santa Maria del Pozzo where the Sacred Wood will remain exposed to the veneration of the faithful until May 9th.
