There Openjobmetis season it didn’t go as expected but, at least, it ended with a salvation that at a certain point wasn’t so obvious. Bialaszewski’s team has one last official commitment, the match of Sunday 5th on the Pistoia pitchthen in the following days it will end its activity.
For this reason the red and white club chose to organize greetings between players and fans, now a constant at the end of the season. The chosen date is that of Tuesday 7 May: starting from 7pm the team will be present at “Broletto Coffee” in via Veratti 4, a place that is now a classic meeting point for city sports.
Pallacanestro Varese intends this thank the red and white fans which this year recorded notable numbers. The attendance data totals at Itelyum Arena was 93,916 spectators which means that on average – also counting the Fiba Europe Cup matches – they attended every match over 4 thousand people.
Also worth highlighting is the fact that i works in progress outside Masnago they did not cause any problems to the spectators. The timetable of the interventions and the attention of the people in charge of managing the construction site allowed a normal influx (and the full capacity of the facility) in the stands throughout the season. A situation which from the outside seems obvious and which, on the contrary, it wasn’t that easy to be fine-tuned.
