Excellent results for the Uisp gymnasts of Latina in the last round of the Uisp promotional/competitive championship held on Saturday 27 April at the Guidonia Palasport. The day started very early with individual exercises for the juniors and seniors. Exercises performed with all rhythmic tools. The excellent performances carried out led to the Uisp gymnasts reaching the highest steps of the podium. Subsequently, the Jun/Sen team took place, composed of the athletes Chiara Stivali, Sofia Martellucci, Melissa De Angelis, Claudia Malafronte and Gaia Di Biasio. A mix team performed with two of the rhythmic gymnastics apparatus, rope and hoop. The excellent performances offered in the past and the wonderful performance in the last test led them, in addition to finishing in first place, to become regional champions. Worth highlighting is the excellent performance of Chiara Stivali, who became regional champion in both ball and hoop. In the afternoon it was the turn of the debutants and students. The little ones showed determination and character in knowing how to face their first competitive race. Their individual exercises were carried out half free body and half with one of the 5 rhythmic apparatus. Excellent tests performed but even more excellent was the team performance which saw them involved in a free body exercise to the tune of the song from the cartoon “Aladin”. Their excellent performance led them to be elected regional champions. The sequence of successes was a deserved reward for all of them, but also for the commitment of the instructors Gaia Picelli, Chiara Conti and Sara Fantin.
