Nice victory for the boys U15 of Barberi Valsesia Basket led by coaches Davide Scillone who on Monday evening, on the 11th and final return day of the Silver Men’s Under 15 championship (Group A), at the Pala Loro Piana in Borgosesia, deservedly prevailed over the team Imp Service Basket Cigliano with the final score of 76 – 64.
Coach’s post-match commentary Davide Scillone: “The first phase closed with a victory which bodes well for the next one for the conquest of the Piedmont cup, this season’s objective. A match without particular ranking interests for both teams, but my boys showed commitment and seriousness in facing a match that meant very little. But the initial chat in the locker rooms, where we set our future commitments and that we must arrive ready and prepared, meant that a game that was even fun at times came out of it, where all the players called up took to the parquet and we dominated against a team further behind compared to us. Now let’s move on to the second phase which will begin on Sunday with direct home and away matches that will lead us towards the attempt to win the Piedmont Cup trophy, I repeat, a seasonal objective”.
Next appointment for our young Eagles, it will be away Sunday 5 May with two-ball at 3pm at the Palestra Di Vittorio – Corso Macchiavelli – Venaria Reale (To) where, on the first day of the Under 15 Men’s Silver Championship (Cup Group – Quarterfinals), the home team will be waiting for them ASD S. Paolo Basketball 1999.
