With this objective, themeeting between the centre-right mayoral candidate, Alessandra Zedda, and the employers’ associations, an expression of the productive fabric of the metropolitan area of Cagliari. “Creating synergies between different production sectors – trade, craftsmanship, tourism, manufacturing industry, agriculture and agri-food, catering, cultural services and ICT – represents the added value to better enhance Cagliari in a territorial marketing strategy that never forgets the strong identity that distinguishes us – says Alessandra Zedda – The goal is to promote our excellence in a network that brings together the different sectors in an integrated project”.
SMEs are the driving force behind the metropolitan area’s economy. They contribute significantly to job creation, economic growth and innovation. 96.5% of Sardinian companies are represented by micro-enterprises (62.7% of the employees are absorbed by micro-enterprises), only 6.9% of the employees work in large production companies: a figure which is reflected in the numbers of Cagliari and which must be the basis of the actions of the future administration. “The support, refreshment and system-building policies – especially in the often complex infrastructure paths of the city – of the various productive souls of Cagliari, well represented by a wealth of SMEs which are our treasure of excellence, are at the center of our program – concluded Zedda – The contribution, in terms of competence and vision of the employers’ associations is therefore precious for giving strength to our growth project for Cagliari”.
