The red and white fans, waiting to gather next Sunday next to the team and club, with the party scheduled for next Sunday at the ”Tonino D’Angelo” Stadium against FC Matera, had been wondering for a while whether they would make it in time to ”redevelop” the facility for its debut in the next championship. We start from a certain fact and that is the restyling project, developed by the municipal administration. A 1.6 million euro investment with a synthetic pitch, to play in all weather conditions. And then the redevelopment of the stands, the changing rooms and the strengthening of the light towers with the LED system, with the aim of making the municipal stadium more functional, modern and welcoming. We await the assignment of the works and the necessary patience. It is everyone’s hope that you have everything ready for the start of the championship. But if a few more weeks are needed, don’t make a fuss about it. The result will be worth the effort…

Works at the Tonino D’Angelo Municipal Stadium
The municipal administration, with council resolution no. 51, approved the proposal for the redevelopment, energy efficiency and adaptation of the Tonino D’Angelo Municipal Stadium.
After forty years, the Stadium will undergo restyling work, in order to make it suitable for the approval of FIGC-LEGA PRO regulations.
The approved project involves the renovation of the current surface of the playing field, with the replacement of the natural turf with an artificial turf, so-called new generation synthetic.
This intervention will allow the possibility of using the playing field, even in adverse weather conditions, improving its usability.
Furthermore, the project involves the redevelopment of the stands, the changing rooms and the strengthening of the light towers with the LED system, with the aim of making the municipal stadium more functional, modern and welcoming.

Mirgaldi, together with the entire Council, are proud of this approved project which will follow the indications prescribed by the Lega Pro for the holding of competitive matches in the professional Serie C championship and the various youth sectors. Certain of the necessary intervention and convinced of the urgency of the works, they also communicate that there will be works for the construction of the press booth, the adaptation of the bathrooms, the changing rooms and the medical rooms.
It is reported that this Administration intends to encourage sporting activity within its territory, in order to generate important benefits for the health of citizens and for socialization, redeveloping urban quality and the social fabric.
