Viterbo – FdI in full force launches the city councilor’s candidacy – Rotelli: “An opportunity that has never happened to our territory”

Viterbo – “For the first time a person from Viterbo will be able to go to Europe”. Or rather, a woman from Viterbo and she is Antonella Sberna. Fratelli d’Italia, after having formalized the candidacy of the municipal councilor in the next elections, officially presents it, together with the outgoing MEP and again in the running Nicola Procaccini.

Party staff present to remind you that the occasion is unique. “For the next five weeks – explains Mauro Rotelli (FdI deputy) – we will be fully committed, because the opportunity has never happened, not to us, but to the territory we represent”.
So, “advice” for voting. “Meloni, Procaccini and Sberna”. There are three preferences that can be expressed and those suggested include the leading prime minister and the MEP, as well as the councillor.
“With Antonella – continues Rotelli – we want to bring Tuscia to Brussels, not just Fratelli d’Italia, the whole territory, beyond the parties. The only possibility in the province of Viterbo is represented by voting for Brothers of Italy.

This, among other things, is a very important signal from the party towards the territory”.
The provincial secretary Massimo Giampieri reminds us that the challenge is an important one, the district is large and covers four regions. In addition to Lazio, Umbria, Tuscany and Marche. “We will do our best – insists Giampieri – to bring home an excellent result”.
Fifteen candidates are on the list in the central Italy constituency. “Seven can be elected – explains the FdI regional councilor Daniele Sabatini – therefore 50%”. But as Rotelli points out, it is impossible to establish what the result could be that would allow Sberna to succeed.
“Four regions are a lot – explains Sberna – but we all need to be told that Europe is not up there, but is present every day in the choices we have to make.
Europe also decides without even needing the approval of the national parliament. This is why it is important to have your say. Today we can obtain a historic result and demonstrate that this province can also compete and for the first time a person from Viterbo can reach Europe.”
It is raining and for Procaccini it is a good omen: “With Antonella there will be a woman who does not compromise, bringing to Brussels ideas, values and principles that pushed her to embark on a political path years ago. With a carry that I don’t know if others have.
A fascinating challenge, which also involves those who do not share the ideas of Fratelli d’Italia. It is a moment in which we have the opportunity to send to the European Parliament a person who lives, operates and works in the same territorial context”.
The electoral campaign has begun and on Saturday at 5.30 pm in Corso Italia, number 21, the inauguration of one of the Meloni, Procaccini, Sberna committees.
