Access to the national health system for transgender people and the relationship between discrimination and the right to health. This is the theme of the meeting organized on Saturday 4 May at 5pm at the Michelangelo hotel in Terni. The initiative, organized by the 5 Star Movement in collaboration with the Esedomani association, is part of the events on the occasion of the Terni Pride which will be held on May 25th. «The objective of the meeting – say the association – is to explore issues relating to access to health care by transgender people, combat discrimination and promote the right to health for all. The meeting is open to all and represents an important opportunity for discussion and awareness on a highly topical issue.” The meeting will be attended by Carolina Morace (lawyer and former footballer and first woman to lead a professional men’s team), Fabrizio Marrazzo (activist and spokesperson for the gay party for LGBT rights), Paola Babocci (psychologist and psychotherapist), Giulia Senofonte (endocrinologist expert in gender affirmation paths), Francesco Pietro De Angelis and Giulia Grani (bearers of experiences).
