Lucania Arte Teatro conquers the public with a one-of-a-kind event

In the evocative setting of the Palazzo dell’Annunziata, home of the municipal library, the show “L’Oririca in Biblioteca” was held with great success, organized by Lucania Arte Teatro. The evening saw the participation of illustrious artists under the guidance of artistic director Enzo Dimatteo.

The event was held in the Openspace Apt Basilicata conference room, located on the ground floor of the Palazzo dell’Annunziata. Numerous talents were involved: the sopranos Maria Laura Iacobellis, Romilda Di Serio, Camila Difonzo and Vincenza Ferri; the tenors Francesco Fedele and Fernando Suglia; the bass baritone Giuseppe De Ruvo and the piano maestro Giuseppe Greco. The direction and stage design were handled by Carlo Costa, with Anna Rita Del Piano in the role of assistant director and guide to the opera. Francesca Pipitone coordinated the artistic production, while the Lucania Arte Teatro Association took care of costumes and sets, with the technical support of Meraki for the lights.

The artistic director Enzo Di Matteo exalted the significance of the event: “This evening was certainly a special event because we wanted to represent this lyrical-theatrical show in a place that is the emblem of culture, a place that in his arcane and mysterious silence dictates to us the rules of life, art and music through the wisdom of books. And the public response was exceptional as always.”

The initiative received great interest and approval, confirming the profound link between opera culture and the unique context offered by the Matera library.
