The curtain rises on the Cesena summer and on cloister of San Francesco. Starting from the end of May, the people of Cesena will be able to meet again in the heart of the historic center to take part in the events of many local entities and beyond that have joined the expression of interest public relating tofree use of these spaces for a maximum of five uses throughout the season.
The invitation was addressed to third sector associations and bodies, economic operators, schools, institutions of higher artistic, musical and dance education and universities.
On the basis of the project proposals presented and the judgment of the commission that evaluated them, the Municipality of Cesena announces today that they are 17 the selected realities.
These are: Albedo for the eighth edition of the Malatesta Short Film Festival, Retropop Live with Backstory, Syllable with “Feminine singular”, lower secondary school “Sacred Heart Foundation” with the show “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, Musical Association Chorus with the music festival, cultural association Genesi Musical Group with the show “Night on Broadway”, Association for Social Promotion “Merchants of Dreams” with the two shows “Manca un Bed” and “The suspended life of hikikomori”, Professional Institute “Versari-Macrelli” with “What are you watching this evening?”, amateur theater association “Verdi Montecatini terme”, Diabetes Romagna with the “Diabetes in Music 2024” initiative, Association “Poesis” with Love as an old woman – meeting Vivian Lamarque but also with the award ceremony of the literary competition of unpublished poetry in the Romagna dialects “La Cà rossa”, Cultural Center Star Field with “What hope is made of”, the presentation of the book “Amico dearest” (ed. Rizzoli) dedicated to the figure of Enzo Piccinini, Romagna tumor research association which will bring “La Locandiera”, Association, to the stage Changing Fifths with the theater show in Romagna dialect “Pelagalèna” and the show in Italian prose “The power of women” by Aristophanes, Friends of the nursery “A. Bonci – Cesena” with 5 concerts of the 45th edition of the “Summer evenings for friends” festival, Music in movement Association with the end-of-year concert on June 12th, e Auser Cesena with Rebel athletes.
All the proposed events and shows will take place in the cloister of San Francesco, during the period included between May 20th and September 30th.
