Inail and Inca CGIL conference in Perugia to address burnout

Experts gather to discuss strategies for preventing work stress.

An important meeting will be held in Perugia on Monday 6 May, from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm, in the Accounts Room of the CGIL of Umbria, where the problems related to work stress and burnoutburnoutBurnout is a set of symptoms that derives from a chronic and persistent stress condition associated with the work context, as well as strategies to prevent them. The event, jointly organized by Inail Umbria and Inca Cgil Umbria, is part of a broader initiative which aims to prevent risks in the workplace.

Roberto Panico, regional coordinator of Inca Cgil Umbria, will open the session, followed by institutional greetings from Confapi Perugia and Ancl Umbria. The event will feature various experts in the field of occupational and safety psychology, who will share their latest knowledge and research.

Among the speakers will be Valentina Nardi, consultant and work psychologist, who will explore the psychological and environmental causes that contribute to burnout. Alessandra Ligi, regional director of Inail Umbria, will discuss the intervention and prevention policies adopted by the institute. Silvio Ranieri, regional secretary of Anci Umbria, and Mariella Cleri, contract professor of Work and Organizational Psychology at the University of Perugia, will offer an analysis from an organizational and educational point of view.

Furthermore, Matteo Ronchetti, researcher at Inail’s psychosocial risks and protection of vulnerable workers laboratory, will present the results of his research, which could illuminate new paths to mitigate the impact of work stress. The conclusions of the event will be drawn by Sara Palazzoli, from the presidential office of the National Inca, specialized in the sector of Work Damage.

This conference represents a significant opportunity for professionals and organizations to better understand the dynamics of work stress and to implement effective strategies for the prevention of burnout. Through dialogue and the sharing of experiences and studies, we try to create a healthier and more sustainable working environment, which can protect the mental and physical health of workers.
