The arrest, which occurred flagrantly for sexual violence, was validated by the judge and the 19-year-old from Brescia, accused of abusing a 5-year-old girl of foreign origin, was placed under house arrest. Contrary to what was initially written, the terrible event occurred in a public park, and not in the square, of a town in Bassa on Saturday evening.
According to what was reconstructed by the Prosecutor’s Office – and reported by Brescia newspaper – the 5-year-old girl was playing in the park, located a short distance from her home: mum and dad had left for a few moments, asking the people present and known to watch over her. Among them it seems there was also the 19-year-old, who took advantage of the parents’ brief absence to seclude himself with the little girl.
When mum and dad returned to the park, their little daughter was no longer where they had left her and they therefore started looking for her, ending up finding her in the company of the boy. A terrifying and horrifying scene, the one they would have witnessed: it seems that her little girl had her trousers down, while he had already undone his zipper and buttons and-it seems-had already stretched out his hands.
The frightened couple asked for help and also alerted the police: the military identified the little girl and her alleged tormentor, who was arrested and spent three nights in prison before the judge relaxed the precautionary measure by placing him under house arrest.
