The soprano Young Ju Kim and the tenor Antonio Signorello will give voice to the Puccini characters, accompanied by the pianist Atsuko Nieda and the soloists of the Orchestra dei Colli Morenici

The Cultural Association Ponchielli APS presents the next concert of the season, dedicated to Giacomo Puccini on the occasion of the Puccinian year, and entitled “Puccini and the Opera that…captivates hearts” which will be held on Sunday 5 May at 6.30pm at the Sala Pro Busto via Cesare Battisti 12 C, Busto Arsizio.
The program includes arias, duets and orchestral interludes taken from: Manon Lescaut, La bohème, Tosca, Madama Butterfly, La fanciulla del west, Suor Angelica, Turandot.

To give voice to Puccini’s characters the soprano Young Ju Kim and the tenor Antonio Signorello will speakaccompanied by pianist Atsuko Nieda and the Soloists of the Colli Morenici Orchestra.
The IIIco and Vco dance troupe of the Liceo Coreutico Candiani Bausch will perform the choreographies created by Ilaria De Santis, Ilenia Logorelli, Michela Morelli and Francesco Posa.
Francesco Rumi will recite the poem “I due soli” by Vittorio Tosto against the musical background of the evocative duet between Minnie and Johnson taken from La fanciulla del west.
Paolo Bosisio, Professor of Theater History at the University and Director of Opera, as well as “Principal” in the docu-reality Il Collegio broadcast on Rai2, will introduce.
