(LaPresse) False driving licenses issued to people from all over Italy. The traffic police of Brescia, the provincial police and the military of the economic-financial police unit of Brescia are implementing an order for the application of a precautionary measure against four people under investigation for having set up a criminal association aimed at obtaining driving licenses type B driving license and driver qualification cards (Cqc) for professional driving of heavy vehicles for third parties. The investigation, during which the Guardia di Finanza carried out targeted economic and patrimonial investigations against the owner of four driving schools with the seizure of over 1 million euros due to disproportion, made it possible to contest against him and his supporters, the crimes of criminal association, corruption, incitement to corruption and numerous forgery of public documents. The special crime of taking driving tests through suggestion systems was also contested, as well as allegations of extortion on candidates. The operation made it possible to identify, among the first cases in Italy, the figure of the so-called ‘telephonist’, remote prompter for exams. There are more than 60 suspects in total.
