Antonino Gallo it blossomed! The performances say it, visible to the naked eye, the numbers say it, visible even to those who don’t yet believe it. Just three months ago, he himself made statements that in this sense hoped for his professional growth:
The important thing is to always stay on track. Game after game you gain more confidence. I want it to be the year of my consecration, so I give my all in training. Then the coach evaluates his choices.
In the end it seems like he succeeded. He certainly never lacked desire and consistency to the point of convincing several coaches, every year, both in Serie B and Serie A, to place him as the starter even when the starter would have been someone else in the market intentions. And so after eliminating Calderoni, Zuta, Frabotta, Barreca and Pezzella, this year it also fell to Patrick Dorgu at least until the arrival of Luca Gotti and his decision to have them coexist on the left wing.
Today Antonino Gallo he is a certainty in the two phases of the game, to the point that we can no longer do without him and establish him as one of the fittest and most important players in the squad. Probably also subject to the transfer market in summer 2024.
In the meantime, however, looking at the numbers, Antonino Gallo he seems to be ready for a big European championship. The numbers don’t lie and they put him next to the biggest names in the main leagues in Europe.

To get an idea, we took into consideration the high-end leagues such as Serie A, Bundesliga, Spanish La Liga, Ligue 1, Premier League and Portuguese Liga and we took into consideration the left wingers who played as full back 4 or of a 5-man midfield.

A quality that is mainly noticed in defensive phase where its position grows to fifth position in terms of number of successful interceptions.
Where to improve
Undoubtedly there are signs of enormous growth, they are evident and tangible. Gallo will only have to improve his ability to score more regularly to become an indispensable player even for a Big team.
