Great enthusiasm again this year in Castiglione di Sicilia for the VI edition of the Auction of the Best Wines of Etna, which is held on the occasion of the celebrations in honor of the Madonna della Catena.

The appointment is for Saturday 4 May from 9.00 pm in Piazza Madonna della Catena, where an evening of music, cabaret and wine will frame the auction. Ruggero Sardo will be the presenter of the event, while exceptional guests will be Carmelo Caccamo with the famous “Signora Santina” and the Sicilian band “Bellamorea”.

More than thirty wineries generously contributed with their fine bottles, once again making the event organized by the Parish of Castiglione and the Festival Committee special.

The event brings together Sicilian artists with the renowned “Vino dell’Etna”, known throughout the world. A solidarity event is “The Auction of the Best Wines of Etna” and it is not only a moment of leisure and conviviality, but also an opportunity to support important initiatives.

The funds raised will help support the celebrations in honor of the Madonna della Catena and various social activities dedicated to the children of the parish community.

Great participation from the wineries: in fact, the parish priest Don Orazio Greco underlines their great generosity, aware of the prestige of their wines and the contribution to the economic tourism growth of the medieval village.

Red, white and rosé wines will be the protagonists of the auction, with prestigious labels that will be officially presented during the evening.

Don Orazio concludes: “An opportunity not to be missed to taste the best wines of Etna and experience an unforgettable evening of music, cabaret and solidarity.”
