Padua. David Beckham’s glasses under perpetual license to Safilo, agreement signed

PADUA – The Safilo group has signed a perpetual licensing agreement with Authentic Brands Group (Authentic) for Eyewear by David Beckhamwhich replaces the previous contract expiring at the end of 2030. As part of the new agreement – informs the Paduan eyewear group – it will continue to manage the entire value chain, from the design phase led by Beckham, to global production and distribution .

After the announcement in 2019, in 2020 David Beckham launched his first Eyewear collection collaborating with Safilo’s team of designers to create a complete proposal of sunglasses and optical frames. The collections, spring/summer and autumn/winter, are made with craftsmanship, high-quality materials, elegant design and distinctive details. «We started 2024 – comments Safilo CEO Angelo Trocchia – with important news for our licensed portfolio, with the early renewal of some of our most important partnerships. This agreement now marks another milestone in our strategy.
