Night-time thefts in Portici, the carabinieri of the local station arrested GB, a 54-year-old from San Giorgio a Cremano already known to the police, for aggravated theft.
The soldiers were engaged in a night duty to control the territory when they received the alarm from 112. They intervened in via Zumbini, inside the Edera Park.
There they found the man, who was already subject to the obligation to report to the judicial police and the obligation to stay at the Municipality of San Giorgio, while he was trying to force the shutter of a garage.
The military stopped the man and subsequent investigations made it possible to ascertain that the arrested man had already forced open two other boxes, stealing two tennis rackets, a ping pong racket and a movie camera with related accessories inside them.
The burglary tools were seized and the goods returned to their rightful owner. The man was transferred to prison awaiting trial.
