Fake driving licenses with remote prompter for exams. The traffic police, the provincial police and the soldiers of the Economic-Financial Police Unit, all three from Brescia, have started an application order to precautionary measure which concerns four people investigated on charges of having set up a criminal association with the aim of obtaining type B driving licenses and driver qualification cards for the professional driving of heavy vehicles for third parties. Here’s what happened.
The investigation
Overall, the Guardia di Finanza carried out economic and financial investigations against the owner of four driving schools. As for the seizure due to disproportion, this amounts to more than 1 million euros. The suspect and his “collaborators” were charged with the crimes of criminal association, corruption, incitement to corruption and numerous forgery of public documents. Furthermore, during the driving tests, according to the police, the special crime of support of exams of guidance through suggestion systems, together with the hypothesis of extortion against candidates.
The suspects
Within the operation the telephone operator, the figure who had the role of remotely suggesting exams. Overall, there are more than 60 suspects and, given the importance of the issue and its relevance at a social level, other investigative investigations are currently being carried out. The checks are taking place on more than 2 thousand ABCC.QC type licenses which were obtained in the Brescia area by people from all over Italy.
The searches
The. are currently underway searcheswhich are also conducted with the technical-operational support of the Central Organized Crime Investigation Service.
To carry out this work, modern technological instruments are used together with two “cash dog” canine units from the Guardia di Finanza with the aim of searching for cash.
