Work is underway Italian Railway Network (lead company of the Infrastructure Hub of the FS Italiane Group) relating to extraordinary maintenance at the station Saint Anthony Mantua of the line Verona – Modena.
The activities, which include the renovation of 11 switches and approximately 500 meters of trackare necessary to guarantee the regularity of the service offered and the adaptation of the railway infrastructure, for the benefit of punctuality and comfort and will be carried out mainly with midweek night interruptions, from 10.00 pm to 6.00 am, until at the end scheduled for May 21st.
The Municipality of Porto Mantovano will also be interested with the reconstruction of the level crossing on via Belgiardino (with closure from 09:00 on 6 May 2024 to 16:00 on 14 May 2024), which will subsequently lead, in some traffic conditions, to shorter closing times and, therefore, less waiting for users of the road.
The economic value of the overall work is over 2 million euros.
