Always a traveling companion of cycling – and of Tour of Italy in particular – Rai Radio will continue, also in the edition 2024to propose a sporting, cultural and social story at the same timealso thanks to the intervention of numerous guests who will take turns at the microphone, offering different points of view in the commentary of each stage.
Specifically, the programming dedicated to the pink race, from Monday to Friday, on Radio1on Radio1 Sports come on RaiPlay Soundwill begin at 4.33pm – immediately after the 4.30pm edition of Gr1 – when it starts “On the roads of the Giro”that is, live radio commentary of the final stages of each of the twenty-one stages, followed by “FuoriGiro – The after stage”which will offer radio listeners live commentary and interviews with the runners at the finish line.
The daily story will continue between 9.00 pm and 11.00 pm in Cesarini area with comments, interviews, the presentation of the next day’s stage, the curiosities and characters of the Italy crossed by Tour.
On weekends, however, from 2.50pm to 5.00pm The Tour will become one of ‘fields’ connected in “All football minute by minute” while in the evening, between 8.10pm and 11.00pmwill air there “Radio1 Giro d’Italia Special” with comments and interviews.
