The Marche under 15s beat the Veneto team on penalties and qualified for the final of the 5-a-side football tournament of the Regions. Today the Marche players will challenge the Emilia Romagna team for the title, kick-off at 9.30 at the PalaCalafiore in Reggio Calabria.
Coach Alfredo Macellari has called up these players: Bonci, Coppari, Delpizzo, Lorenzetti, Longarini, Tiju, Bruciati, Moretti, Sciamanna, Sebastianelli, Catalini, De Capua. Regular time ended 1-1 (in the second half goals from Sebastianelli at 1’45 and D’Alessandro at 12’49). On penalties, Marche were more precise and scored with Longarini, Lorenzetti, Tiju and Del Pizzo. The Marche under 15 team was the protagonist of a good match in which the bar was raised once again. Today the boys are called to a valuable match against Emilia Romagna, a team indicated as the favorite on the eve also because in the last four years they have reached three finals, winning two titles. The Marche expedition can be defined as positive considering that the under 19, 17 and 15 teams and the women’s team passed the first phase of the event.
