The weather forecast for the next few days

In the next few days the meteorological picture of our country will remain extremely unstable. Starting from Thursday 2 May, further rain is expected, affecting many regions.

The cause is a large cyclonic area, with a nucleus located over France, which is moving slowly towards the British Isles and which has already caused a marked worsening of the weather starting from the early hours of Wednesday 1 May. The cyclonic circulation will continue to negatively influence weather conditions in the days to come.

For the day of Thursday 2 May Rain and thunderstorms are expected across much of Italy, especially inAlpine arcin the’upper Po Valley and all along the Tyrrhenian side. In these areas the phenomena will tend to intensify, taking on a stormy character, especially above Tuscany, Lazio And Campania.
Conditions will be less rainy on the Adriatic coast, Sicily and Sardinia.
After the drop on Wednesday 1st May, temperatures will remain stable, without undergoing significant variations.

Also Friday 3 May, despite some signs of improvement, the day will be characterized by marked atmospheric instability, especially in the North, but also irregularly in the rest of the country. The extreme southern regions and the two major islands will be an exception, where the weather will be characterized by slight instability with many hours of sunshine and pleasant temperatures.

Later, at the turn of the weekendthe atmosphere will tend to return to calm, however Saturday 4 May it will still be advisable to keep an umbrella handy, especially in the North.
We will give you more details on the weekend’s weather in our next updates.
