According to what was reported by the neighbors, the two forty-year-olds had been involved in events for some time quarrels very animated and on the evening of April 25th there would have been yet another altercation between them which, this time, risked turning into a tragedy. The discussion was more violent than usual, the tone was louder and more worrying, so much so that it alarmed the neighbourhood, also because the husband went from shouting to beatings. Slapsfists and kicks against his wife while the two shouted louder and louder, according to witnesses who heard the argument. At a certain point the situation escalated further, with the man first having bite your ear of the woman, tearing off a piece of her ear, and then hit her violently with a hammer.
At that point, the man decided to give himself up leak to avoid being arrested and the woman, with her remaining strength, managed to drag herself towards the neighbors’ houses by ringing the doorbells to ask for help. The neighbors wasted no time in calling an ambulance and the police, who arrived at the scene of the violence within minutes, from where, however, the man had already left. While the woman was accompanied urgently at the Bufalini hospital, the officers began a manhunt down.
As soon as she was able to speak, she reported her husband to the police and when she is finally discharged, a path to inclusion in a community has already been planned for her. protected structure, to distance her from her violent husband and where she can try to find serenity again. In the meantime the police are combing the area, looking for the man in the places where she could have taken refuge.
For the moment it is excluded that he may have had time to escape abroad.
