The regional department is evaluating whether to make some changes to the first version of the 2024/2025 Umbria hunting calendar.

Both some majority forces and the hunters’ associations were critical: therefore the department is evaluating whether to partially modify the draft hunting calendar that will govern the next season in Umbria. He reveals it Todayone of the best-known local online publications.

One of the less convincing passages concerns the start date of the quarter for the hunt: it is very likely that from October 17th, Thursday, it will slip forward three days, to Sunday 20th, in all three regional ATCs.

The department is also working on the possibility of adding corvids to the list of huntable species scheduled to open on September 1st (so far there is only the turtle dove). From Ispra, which later the ruling of the Council of State is obliged to calculate them, the definition of the small quantities that can be withdrawn by way of exception is awaited.
