Sant’Efisio, changes to the road network in Cagliari

To allow the 368th Feast of Sant’Efisio scheduled today to take place safely, the Municipality of Cagliari has adopted a series of measures on the traffic of the areas affected by the religious procession.

A ban on parking and transit has been established with forced removal on both sides, from midnight (from 6am for transit) to 3pm on May 1st in the streets: Sant’Efisio, Vico Iii Sant’Efisio, Fara, Santa Margherita, Tigellio, Palabanda, Carbonazzi, Sant’ignazio Da Laconi, Portoscalas, San Giovanni Bosco, Azuni, Piazza Yenne, Corso Vittorio Emanuele Ii, Baylle, Sassari, Piazza Madonna Del Carmine, Crispi, Gio’ Maria Angioy, Goffredo Mameli, Largo Carlo Felice, Piazza Matteotti, Sassari, La Playa, Traversa I La Playa, Ponte Della Scafa, Viale Pula, excluding authorized vehicles, as well as in Via Malta and Vico Malta, Via Maddalena No parking with forced removal on both sides, in Via Roma – carriageway on the portico side, in the stretch between Via Barcellona and Largo Carlo Felice, from midnight to 10pm on the 1st and transit, in the same stretch, from 6am to 10pm.

Same prohibitions, but until 3pm on May 1st in via Roma in the stretch between via Sassari and viale Trieste and in viale Trieste in the stretch between piazza del Carmine and via Pola. Traffic ban also in via Carloforte from 6am to 3pm on 1/5. Parking ban with forced removal and transit, on both sides of the two longest streets (Poste Italiane side and Palazzo Pizzorno Binaghi side) and of the Tar side on both the sides, adjacent to Piazza Madonna Del Carmine and Via Sassari (stretch Piazza del Carmine up to Via Malta) on both sides, from 9am on 30 April to 6pm on 1/5 (for transit the ban is in force from 6am to 6pm on May 1st.
In via Nicolodi on both sides, parking ban with forced removal from midnight to 3pm on May 1st.
Parking ban with forced removal, throughout the square, in the area owned by the Region in Viale La Playa, from midnight on April 26th to 3pm on 1/5 and from 12pm to midnight on 4/5.
Parking ban with forced removal, throughout Piazza Sorcinelli, from midnight to 4pm on 1/5.
In Via Giussani, on the left side, in the first 35 meters before the intersection with Via Nicolodi and until the end of the intersection with Via Nicolodi itself, there will be a parking ban with forced removal from midnight to 3pm on May 1st, while in Viale Pula, in Giorgino, in the area in front of and to the side of the Church of Sant’Efisio there will be a parking ban with forced removal, on both sides, in the time slot 0 – 24, from 30 April to 5 May .
Furthermore, in Viale Trieste on the right side towards S.Avendrace, in the stretch between Via Cesare Battisti and the fuel distributor, a ban on parking with forced removal has been established, except for public service buses, from midnight to 6pm on first of May.
From 5:00 am to midnight today, the two-way lane of Via Roma reserved for local public transport will be closed to vehicular traffic.
