The Toyota home rental service arrives in Ragusa

KINTO, a global brand of the Toyota Group dedicated to mobility services, in collaboration with the Toyota dealer TD Car and in agreement with the Municipality of Ragusa, enriches the mobility offer in the city by activating the first car sharing service with KINTO in the municipal area Share.
The KINTO Share service, 100% digital and based on an electrified Toyota fleet equipped with Full Hybrid technology, provides a network of car pick-up and drop-off stations in the city areas of Ragusa Centro and Ragusa Ibla, in the tourist resort of Marina di Ragusa and at the Toyota TD Car dealer headquarters.
With the activation of the service in Ragusa, KINTO Share, already active as a public car sharing service in Venice since 2018 and in Pescara since 2023, thus extends to 33 provinces in Italy and reiterates KINTO’s objective of being a Mobility Provider that it allows people to move safely and without barriers, respecting the environment and contributing to the well-being of society.

KINTO Share is a 100% digital car sharing service, which allows you to easily and intuitively book the most suitable car whenever you need it through the appropriate app, and to manage all operations via your smartphone in order to guarantee a high-quality customer experience. Furthermore, KINTO Share contributes to making citizens’ journeys increasingly sustainable and respectful of the environment through a fleet of cars equipped with the most modern electrified technologies, such as the Full Hybrid which allows you to travel in zero emissions mode for over 50% of the time. time, confirming Toyota’s objective of drastically reducing CO2 and NOX emissions during travel.

KINTO Share, in the city of Ragusa, provides a fleet of 15 Toyota Yaris Hybrid cars which can be picked up and dropped off at the 3 dedicated and free municipal stations of Ragusa Ibla, Ragusa Centro and Marina di Ragusa, as well as at the offices of the Toyota TD Car dealer.

KINTO Share satisfies in a simple way needs that can be different, such as that of students who need a car to reach the University, or that of residents who have to move within the city, or of tourists who above all in the summer months they need to reach the coast. The city of Ragusa joins KINTO’s innovative and sustainable mobility proposal, which is rapidly expanding across the national territory. KINTO Share has already been active as a public carsharing service in the city of Venice since 2018 and in Pescara since 2023 and is progressively expanding across the national territory in collaboration with the Toyota and Lexus network dealers. With a fleet of more than 300 vehicles, the service is present today at 139 KINTO Share collection stations in 13 Regions, 33 Provinces and is already operational in numerous cities as well as in the airports of Cagliari, Olbia, Venice and Pescara as well as at the port of Palermo. Therefore, even new subscribers from the city of Ragusa will be able to access the service in all locations where it is already available.
