Supermarkets and shops open on May 1st in Emilia-Romagna

There will be a dedication to the victims of Suviana during the long day of workers and their rights in Bologna, there will be talk of peace and Europe, but not even on May Day some supermarkets and shopping centers allowed themselves to lower their shutters in favor of an opening extraordinary. It must be said that most of the large shopping centers along the Via Emilia will respect the holiday like, for example, all the Coop stores in Bologna and beyond.

Who remains open in Bologna

On the websites of the various large-scale retail chains, to name a few, it is possible to consult the opening hours: most Pam stores, for example, will remain open all day starting from around 9am, both those in the historic center and those outside the walls, such as the two in the Corticella area. The same goes for many of the outlets Despar of the city, with some exceptions, as in the case of the supermarket in via dell’Arcoveggio which will remain closed for the whole day, and for those Carrefour. But Shopville Gran Reno di Casalecchio, on the contrary, has decided to lower the shutters of its shops. The Ikea next door will also remain closed. Still in Casalecchio and after remaining open on April 25th, Centro Meridiana, including Esselunga, will be closed on May 1st (the other stores of the chain in the city will also reopen on May 2nd). From north to south, with timetables that can be consulted on the interactive map, some Conads will be open, but the one inside the shopping center in via Larga in Bologna. The Navile center is also closed where, in addition to the supermarket, there are several other clothing and footwear shops.

The Castel Guelfo outlet will be open with its brands from 10am to 8.30pm, like the Fidenza Village, which will open at the same time but will close half an hour earlier, at 8pm.
