A collaboration agreement for the Pump track in Pero

Promote the care and enhancement of the area dedicated to the pump track, inside the park in via Risorgimento: this is the object of the collaboration agreement between the Municipality of Pero and Kevin Lentini, trialbike and stuntbike champion. The pact, signed on Monday 29 April and valid for three years, contains a series of mutual responsibilities with a common objective: the valorisation of the area which, within the park, hosts the pump track, a route full of curves and bumps to travel by bicycle inaugurated during the Sports Festival last September.

On the one hand, the Municipality undertakes to guarantee the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the greenery and the installed equipment; The Municipality is also responsible for providing support in the organization of events and initiatives and, where possible, recovering additional material for the expansion of the circuit. Kevin Lentini, with the signing of the Pact, undertakes to take care of and promote the care of the space, organize events and initiatives open to citizens and guarantee the protection of the area. The collaboration agreement is a particular form of agreement shared between the Public Administration and citizens, groups of citizens or associations, which contains the commitments that both parties assume with respect to the care of common goods.

Since 2018, the Municipality of Pero has launched various collaboration agreements, with the aim of promoting participatory planning for the use of public spaces and generating new services and aggregation opportunities. The information relating to the activity of the collaboration agreement for the pump track, as well as for all other collaboration agreements already in place or yet to be activated, will be available on the institutional channels of the Municipality of Pero, as provided for by the individual collaboration agreements and
from the “Regulation for the care, regeneration and shared administration of common goods”, approved by the City Council on 5 April 2024.
