On this very important day for Italy and for our community, my thoughts and solidarity go first and foremost to the workers of the Crai supermarket in via Balzella who, in recent days, have been fired after a lifetime of work and sacrifice. But it also goes to all the workers in our area who find themselves in a difficult situation because they are at risk of redundancy or relocation and who are fighting for better working conditions. Furthermore, it is necessary for public administrations to recognize the due contractual increases to workers of social cooperatives who play a fundamental role in the welfare of the territory”. It was not the case at the Enel plant in Suviana where seven people lost their lives or at the Esselunga construction site in Florence, where five died.
