On Thursday 2 May, the road resurfacing work will begin on the entire Via Aureliano, from the intersection of via della Pietrara to the junction with via Formello. This intervention, managed by the Astral company as part of the construction sites planned for the Ryder, is of fundamental importance for the city of Guidonia Montecelio.
To facilitate the execution of the works, the road will be closed to traffic, with the exception of residents and emergency vehicles and police. In order to limit inconvenience and complete the construction site in the shortest time possible, the company in charge will also work at night next week.
The councilor for Public Works, Mario Proietti, underlined the importance of this road artery for the city, highlighting that via Aureliano is widely used to connect Guidonia with the fraction of Pichini and the municipalities of Fonte Nuova and Mentana. It was therefore crucial to include this intervention among the maintenance works connected to the Ryder Cup. Even though the competition ended some time ago, the benefits it brings to the territory continue to manifest themselves.
