Rock, pop, indie, jazz, funky, hip hop, rap in all its forms (including trap). And DJ sets equally varied in genres and proposals, from techno and house to reggaeton. The May Day concert organized in Parco San Felice by the municipal administration, the CGIL, CISL and UIL unions, by Mid Side Aps in collaboration with Davide Eronia and Andrea Infante. A marathon of music, entertainment, art (three writers will compose works) and civil and social commitment, with reflections that will be brought to the stage relating to work with its critical issues by the institutional and trade union representatives who will take turns. The conductors will be Carlo Baldassini and Silvia Guerrieri.
This morning in the council room of Palazzo di Città the presentation of the event was held, with the mayor present Maria Aida Episcopo, the councilor for culture Alice Amatorethe territorial secretary of CISL Leonardo Piacquadiothe provincial secretary of the CGIL Magdalena Jarczak and the coordinator Uil Puglia Luca Maggio.
The union representatives underlined the need to rekindle attention on widespread precariousness, on the search for solutions and proposals capable of guaranteeing employment opportunities and on safety in the workplace.
Councilor Amatore highlighted the synergies that contributed to the organization of the event and the great participation of young talents who will have the opportunity to express themselves in front of a large audience on such an important occasion.
Mayor Episcopo underlined the importance of culture – in all its forms – for a community and the sensitivity of the administration for social issues. And he hoped for respectful behavior for people and the environment that will welcome them tomorrow, a meeting place returned to such an important event after more than a decade.
