No stop to the online medical prescription delivery service, the Lombardy Region has announced: 50% of citizens use it. Here’s how to receive recipes by email or text message.

There will not be no interruption of service of sending the dematerialized medical prescriptions for the citizens of Lombardy. This was announced Region: from 1 May no interruption of the service is foreseen as, instead, we were thinking of doing for those who had not yet confirmed this choice through the channels made available. “It is important to continue this process of ‘awareness’ to allow more and more people from Lombardy to continue to benefit from a service that is always highly appreciated”, he is ruthless. In fact, at the moment, 50% of citizens with active profile have service confirmed.
How to keep the service active by email or text message
For confirm interest to maintain the service is active for the provision of medical prescriptions online, every citizen can use one of the channels made available from the Lombardy Region:
- onlineby accessing the ‘Profile and Settings’ section of the Health Record (top right), selecting ‘Notifications’ and then the ‘Recipes’ item, choosing to send SMS or e-mail
- going to counters choice and revocation of the relevant ASST
- from the doctor of General Medicine/Pediatrician of free choice
- in pharmacy
- fromapp of the health file (downloadable here).

This choice of the Region was promoted and explained byregional councilor for Welfare Guido Bertolaso: “The citizens of Lombardy still have a large period of time to make the choice on how to receive electronic prescriptions. The information campaign on this topic, which began two months ago and which sees the involvement of ATS, General Practitioners and pharmacies, will continue untilmembership it will not be maximum“.

It was Bertolaso himself who announced, in recent days, the deadline of April 30th to confirm acceptance of the sending of dematerialized medical prescriptions, emphasizing the benefits of the option, including the considerable saving of time. Unfortunately, communication with citizens had not worked: the electronic platform for confirming the service had had problems and was not responding due to too much traffic generated by the news.
